Your environment influences your will.
Good morning, my gorgeous girls (if you’re reading this post, you’re certainly one π ). I heard this sentence at the beginning of a ted talk on self-love, healing limiting believes, I don’t remember the speaker, nor the actual topic. But he made an interesting point that I am sharing with you here. As you know, I always try to upgrade and better myself in a natural, soft and feminine way, that is why I love listening to audio books and psychological podcasts while I am doing my makeup. Furthermore, I love sharing my food for thought or anything useful with my girls. Here is what they said in the talk:
When you surround yourself with people who are constantly pulling you down and reminding you of why youβre not good enough, at some point you are going to start to believe it. Ufff, that takes experience, wisdom, self-love and self-respect to realise and constantly practise it in your life. They then added that:
If you, however, hang out with 9 people who support each otherβs dreams instead of belittling or stealing them, youβre likely to become the 10th, because weβre creatures of habit.
Choose wisely is my only conclusion. We have this power, this freedom of choice, and it makes so much sense. Why would I choose people who are not supportive, happy for me, positive and compassionate? Why would I give my precious time and feminine energy to anyone who doesn’t bring peace and value to my life?
My message to you is, Love Yourself! π Be mindful of the people who you allow to enter your space and whom you give your energy to. Furthermore, practice Self-love in different ways. One of my favourite ways to nourish my soul by listening to a meaningful podcast while doing my makeup. These are the products that I have been using the most recently, let me know on IG if you want reviews or you need me to address any question that this post might provoke in you. Have a peaceful and loving new week, kisses, Gergana π .
